Our nutritional philosophy

Every ingredient we use in our meals is there for a reason, to ensure your pet receives the best nutrition possible, every day.

Our food is nutritionally designed using cutting edge science and perfectly balanced to give your pet all the vital protein, vitamins and minerals they need for their good health and wellbeing. We only use natural, healthy ingredients and avoid unnecessary fillers.

We stand by species-appropriate

We believe that there is overwhelming evidence to suggest that the very best nutrition for your pet is raw dog food or raw cat food that aligns with their evolutionary biology. This should be supplemented with nutrient-dense muscle and organ meats, high-quality ground bone, and selected vegetables and fruits to provide essential vitamins and minerals, as well as soluble fibres for their gut microbiome.

We believe in pet-centred

We may include certain ingredients in our pet foods that were not part of our pets’ evolutionary diet. This approach reflects our recognition of the advancements in the way we coexist with our pets. If a naturally occurring ingredient is beneficial for your pet, we will either incorporate it into our meals or offer you the option to add it to your order.

Our understanding of pet health is largely influenced by recent findings in human nutrition. Compelling evidence suggests that many human illnesses are exacerbated by poor diets and the negative effects these diets have on the human microbiome – the bacteria living in our guts.

We stay ahead of the curve...

…so you don’t have to. As we learn more, and as science evolves, so will our food. Our food is free from grains, low in carbs and naturally hypoallergenic, read on to find out why.
